Been wanting to drop this for a while.
Back in 2014 I dropped a track called ULTRA under the name SNARQIE. That shit stayed in my head longer than expected. Not nostalgia, more like it still had loose ends, something raw that wasn't fully locked in.
So I went back.
Not a remake. Not a remix. If it was, it would still be ULTRA. This one is SNARK..
Took the old alias, cut it down, made it colder. Same bloodline, different body. It carries some DNA from that 2014 idea but stands alone now.
The original already had what mattered: heavy 808s, dark weight, that raw foundation. This version keeps the core but pushes everything further, tighter low end, more control in the space, more force right where it needs to hit.
Added a bit of that Brazilian phonk dirt too. Not enough to pull it out of trap, just enough to make it hit grittier, more grounded.
I fuck with revisiting old ideas when they still feel alive. Sometimes a track doesn’t need to be repeated. It just needs to keep going from a new angle.
That's SNARK..
